Promulgada la Ley de Medios, y próximo el inicio de su aplicación, surgen diversos cuestionamientos: ¿Hubo suficiente y oportuna información? ¿Se consultó a diferentes actores interesados de la provincia sobre aspectos y características propias de la región que una norma de este tipo debiera contemplar? Diputados, senadores, sindicalistas ¿se comunicaron con sus representados para conocer su opinión? ¿Se marginó al interior del país de su elaboración? ¿Garantiza la ley, en toda Salta, el derecho a la información en calidad y cantidad suficientes? ¿Están garantizadas las fuentes de trabajo en los medios audiovisuales de Salta? ¿Se controlará la procedencia del capital de las cooperativas y organizaciones no gubernamentales facultadas para poseer un medio de comunicación? ¿Qué respuesta tenemos para asegurar las libertades de prensa y de expresión?
En busca de respuestas para estos y otros interrogantes, el Ateneo Juana Azurduy y el Movimiento de Reafirmación Alfonsinista organizaron para el próximo viernes 30 el Foro “Ley de Medios, el día después”. Adhieren los ateneos Arturo Illía y Osvaldo Álvarez Guerrero.
